More than 173 years ago, young Auguste Agassiz became the owner of a modest watch-parts workshop in the small swiss Jura mountain village of Saint-Imier. Longines has steadfastly built its reputation on the strength of scores of horological patents, outstanding aesthetic and technical developments, dozens of design awards and over a century’s close cooperation with top-level sports.
It can look back on the first seventeen decades of a highly successful partnership with elegance, and look forward to much more of the same.
